Fostering relationships that enhance children’s learning
In this workshop we will explore and challenge common understandings and practices regarding relationships with parents and colleagues. We will explore how to keep children’s learning at the heart of our interactions with others. You will be supported to identify ways of working within your centre that promote collaborative problem-solving and enable you to evaluate your impact on children’s learning. Effective curriculum provision
This workshop will cover the key principles of effective assessment and curriculum design. You will be supported to develop strategies to identify the learning interests and motivations of children. We will explore how to use the learning outcomes of Te Whāriki, in conjunction with centre priorities and aspirations of whānau, to provide appropriate learning environments. Teaching strategies that support children’s developing identities as learners, their learning dispositions and working theories will be discussed. Get in Touch
