inspirED ECE is an independent professional learning provider.

We help teachers close the gap between who they are and who they want to be ‐ with practical, jargon-free guidance grounded in the realities of everyday teaching.

20 years experience
Directors Barbara Watson and Bridgit Williams have facilitated professional learning together for almost two decades.
60 years collective experience
Combined, our directors bring six decades across education and care teaching, leadership, hospital play specialty, early intervention and Montessori teaching.
Our approach
Practical, jargon-free guidance grounded in the realities of everyday teaching.
Trusted nationwide
Contracted by the Ministry of Education, the Teaching Council, Kindergartens, Home-based services and Education and Care providers big and small.
Enhancing outcomes
Improving outcomes for children is at the heart of everything we do.
Strengthen practice
We support teachers and leaders to develop the effectiveness of their teaching.

In 2020 we started our relationship with InspirED ECE, to support us to lift practice and build teaching capability. Having Bridgit as an external mentor has been highly motivating for our team, giving kaiako a trusted space for open and honest conversations about the areas they find challenging.

Bridgit’s support has been instrumental in strengthening our practice, empowering our kaiako, and helping us provide an even richer learning environment for our tamariki and whānau. I would highly recommend InspirED ECE to any centre wanting to grow leadership capability and strengthen teaching practice.

Ginny – Owner of Piwaka Early Learning Centre, Auckland

We’ve worked with Bridgit and the team at Inspired ECE over the past 10 years. Bridgit is our go-to person when it comes to strengthening social and emotional competence teaching practice in our teams.

She has facilitated theory based and practical workshops as well as providing troubleshooting sessions. She’s worked directly with our teaching teams and has also presented workshops for our parents.

Working with Bridgit has genuinely changed how we think about children’s social competence and how important it is. No facilitator has spent more time supporting our 3 teams at Vintage Kids, this has built a high level of trust. Her depth and breadth of experience, combined with her insight and practical knowledge, make her professional learning both engaging and easy to implement in everyday practice.

Our teaching team has worked with Bridgit many times over a number of years. Bridgit designs tailor-made PLD sessions for us on specific areas that we are working on, we have found this to be the most effective and efficient way for our team to collectively engage. We have always found Bridgit to be extremely well informed with a direct and concise approach, she is always open to any questions that arise. Our most recent sessions with Bridgit were on developing and embedding our Internal Evaluation processes, and implementing Kowhiti Whakapae. We most definitely recommend Bridgit and will continue to work with her when the need arises.
