inspirED ECE is an independent professional learning provider.

We pride ourselves on delivering high quality, research-informed professional learning programmes and support to early childhood teachers and leaders. Enhancing outcomes for children is central to all that we do. Therefore,  our core purpose is to support teachers to improve practice so that they can more effectively contribute to quality outcomes for the children and families with whom they work.

Directors, Barbara Watson and Bridgit Williams previously worked together in The University of Auckland’s professional learning team. When this was disbanded, they wanted to continue to serve ECE teachers and inspirED ECE was created in 2014.

We have been working with Bridgit and Barbara for almost 2 years now as we worked to unpack inquiry focused learning as well as strengthening our team’s knowledge and use of Te Whariki. We have also used inspirED ECE to build a strong mentoring system for our 3 centres. Barbara and Bridgit have been amazing in terms of the content and delivering this in a way that motivates and inspires teachers to continue their learning journey as well as grow within their personal philosophy and pedagogy.  This in turn has created greater learning opportunities for our tamariki.

We would highly recommend inspirED ECE to anyone as we can trust that their content will meet the needs of our teams and also support their learning and teaching journey.

InspirED ECE are our chosen provider of professional learning development. They provide our teaching team with high quality learning programmes that have supported us in improving our practice resulting in quality outcomes for our children.

We find the in-centre whole team programmes very effective.  InspirED ECE have designed learning for us that meets our team’s learning needs.  Learning as a team has resulted in us working together to improve the way we document children’s learning, how we implement Te Whariki 2017 into our curriculum and to develop a strategic plan that focuses on promoting positive learning outcomes for our children.
